Meet the Players: Stephanie Berg Defensive Specialist

Everyone needs an escape from the events that come our way every day. My escape, whether I'm tired, stressed, upset, happy, or getting pumped up for a game, is music. No matter what mood I'm in there is always a song that I can relate to at that moment. Some of my favorite bands/musicians are Rascal Flatts, Nickelback, Toby Keith, and my all time favorite, the Jonas Brothers! I've gotten the chance to go to 3 Jonas Brothers concerts. The first concert, my best friend and I drove 2 hours to see them, and the most recent concert we got front row tickets! We also managed to get sound check passes where I got to talk to them and my best friend got her picture taken with them! This summer we're hoping for round 4!

Meet the players: Janae Curnutt Defensive Specialist

The thing that makes me unique is that I enjoy a wide variety of things. I obviously love volleyball but that is not all. I enjoy doing any activity that is outside like running, biking, swimming, kayaking, camping, and so on; but I also love sports and random things like yoga, kick boxing, rock climbing, and karate. Many people get stuck within their sport that they have excelled in, but I seem to always want more and enjoy this variety in my life. -Janae

One the Road

We travel in style in our coach bus! When the girls aren't sleeping in the beds, having a dance party in the aisles, or watching a movie, they catch up on their studies!

Before the game

When we have some spare time before a match we like to tour around different campuses and be our happy selves before we get SERIOUS. This particular campus had lots of space to let loose.

Pumpkin Patch and then a bit of Pumpkin Carving

A new tradition has emerged with us, the Pumpkin Patch. We all search for pumpkins and indulge in homemade apple cider. Unfortunately, this year there were lack of pumpkins but... plenty of apple cider. None the less we seemed to scavenge through the bit of pumpkins available and carved MASTERPIECES! It was a another successful October.

Frisbee Golf!

It was a nice break for the ladies to get out of the gym and hit the Frisbee Golf course. We took advantage of one the many gorgeous days in Evansville and luckily for us the campus had some outdoor activities.
